I'd suggest Gtechniq G5 and a couple of brushes, something like an EZ for the inside faces and a pastry brush or something to clean the fronts. I've just had my new car detailed using Gtechniq products and cleaning wheels has always been a pet hate of mine. Once it dries on that MF it`s *on there* so I have to APC-soak and scrub with a Denture Brush. Even then I sometimes see evidence that the FK1000P is still there (hydrophobic areas on that MF). BUT, I`ve *never* had dried FK1000P mar paint, not once.

Eh, maybe it`s just me, or the style of the wheels, but there was *NO* comparison between how long it took me to do the coating vs. AIO + FK1000P.

WebJun 21, 2011 · I would never top the FK1000P on the wheels, not at all. More likely to have downsides than benefits. The FK will remove tar with the solevents in it.. will the 915 also do that? Probably, most all LSPs will do that, even Souveran. Any other advice about the wax would be appreciated as well.. thanks all!
WebJul 24, 2024 · Many here like Finish-Kare`s FK1000P High-Temp wax, as it withstands the higher temperatures on a rim generated by braking. Yes, I have used Wheel Wax (the original wheel wax) , but it was OK and I went to the 845 when I ran out.
